I know a few of you might glance at the blog and might not be quite sure who I am exactly or what’s the purpose of this blog. I am Edward Balfour and I am currently an active duty HR Specialist for the Army National Guard and owner of Harden Consulting. I created this blog to assist up and coming HR careerists and business leaders. I have over ten years of experience in the field and I want to share any advice and tips, personally experienced or acquired through other professionals. I have always been a motivator so I decided to branch out and help more than just family and friends. We could all use some motivation now and again and the source doesn’t really matter now does it.

My idea for this blog was to believe in myself and my abilities to inspire and lead others to do greater than they currently are. However in order to do this I have to practice what I preach so that has been challenging as well. I wouldn’t call blogging a job or even a hobby right now, it’s just my passion streamlined and focused. If you ever need anything feel free to email me or just leave comments and I will answer any questions as soon as I can humanly get to them. I know a few of us are bookworms so I will be doing book reviews on literature that I pick up.
