This article written by Ram Charan has very strong views that might offend many of us that work in HR, especially HR Directors. I wanted to take the time to read this to form my own opinion and one thing is for certain, HR we are on notice! If we want more power in the board room we need to have effective HR programs and better representation in the Executive suite or there is a very big chance to lose that seat. I have been in many rooms where those gifted HR minds are thinking of many wonderful ways to improve the organization; well we may need to adjust our starting point. Let’s get back to the basics and then build our way up.
